Pulau Sibu- Rimba Resort Island suite

Island suite in rimba resort amidst jungle greenery and overlooking the sea. furthest away which is very private. and most expensive. All chalets do not have tvs air con or door locks. The door is a piece of canvas. Back to basics, u just need a bed with a mosquito net for the night anyway. You should be spending time on the beach! Ah.....Simple Island life!

It was truly a relaxing stay at rimba, just doing nothing, strolling, admiring the teeming life in wading pools on the beach during lowtide, climbing rocks, lazing on the hammock, and lastly having a romantic candlelight dinner next to the sea. We caught a firefly wandering outside our bungalow.

The western set dinner was great. lunch wasn't anything to shout about. most prob different cooks.

Nice pleasant surprise to see that the staff were mainly from UK, on a malaysian island. and the guy who owns the place-is a south african.

Its not too far from singapore- 2 hour drive to tanjung leman jetty near mersing and a 20min exhilarating speedboat ride- note u might get wet!

Perfect unity. Love the formation. #FighterJets

spent a lovely afternoon at sentosa. it threatened to rain, but thankfully stopped for the show, and resumed heavy pours after.

the breitling jet team was great! u can see why in my videos here & here . synchronized, awe-inspiring, drawing oohs and ahs from the crowd and a loud applause during the finale. they even used fireworks.

my husband is a pilot instructor so i have caught on to his enthusiasm for all things airplane related... so we try to go for airshows when the aerobatic teams are in town. really hope the thunderbirds come to singapore in september!
